Penanaman Karakter Anak Saleh melalui Edukasi Finansial Islami di TPQ Yambuur Rohmah
Abstract
Community service activities were carried out in Balongkenongo Hamlet, Tanjung Kenongo Village, focusing on the Qur’anic educational institution TPQ Yambuur Rohmah. The selection of the location was based on field observations which revealed social problems in the form of low awareness among children regarding the importance of financial management and saving habits from an early age. Most children tended to spend their pocket money on consumptive needs, such as purchasing online game vouchers, rather than saving it. This community service program aimed to instill a frugal lifestyle, increase children’s understanding of the importance of saving from an early age, and build independent character in financial management. The implementation methods included observation, problem identification, work program planning, and the execution of educational and participatory activities. The main program implemented was a socialization program on the importance of saving from an early age, while the group programs included Qur’an learning assistance, community service activities, and communal iftar gatherings. The results of the program showed an increase in children’s understanding and awareness regarding the importance of setting aside pocket money for future needs.
